19 days without a breathing tube!!!

Wednesday morning, Jacob successfully passed his radiology swallow exam.

This means that Jacob was able to open up his food intake to almost any food. Small bites with fluids between bites.

Today, Jacob had his feeding tube removed. They feel that Jacob can maintain his own supply of nutrition.

The current plan is to be discharged from the hospital early next week.

God continues to lead us. Jesus took the wheel. But we like the direction he is taking Jacob’s health. Praise be the Almighty.
